What UC is what you get

We're here in Santa Barbara both going to UCSB and living the married college life. Here you can read about nerd stuff, current protests at our school (or other strange liberal causes), and basically the haps of our UC life, and other parts of life as well!

I never thought my dreams would get so boring

So I had a dream that I updated my blog and it had pictures and it was awesome and I got tons of comments saying what an awesome post it was. I basically changed the world.

I think I thought this because lately Billy, me, and our friend Nick go on "skunk hunts" at about 1AM on campus. Now, I left my camera at my parents' house, so I can't get it until Labor Day. I do want to eventually post "The Wildlife at UCSB" pictures. Last night we saw 8 skunks, 8 raccoons, 1 rabbit, and 1 cat (cats are frustrating). The rabbit was the prize of the evening. We also saw about 4 black garbage bags that Billy thought was a skunk from afar. And we see a lot of really big spiders with intricate webs. All very cool. The skunks are REALLY cute and they waddle. We saw 2 skunks together which is very rare because they're loners so we waited around for a while because we thought they were going to get it on. They didn't. I think they got stage fright.

We went to San Diego last week to see Tim & Charlotte at their new (huge) place and my brother and his fiancee. We bought an awesome game, we wandered around some shops, saw my brother, ate sushi, and played our awesome game. I don't want to say what awesome game because SOME PEOPLE who read this blog should have a surprise.

Also, I've been working on putting Billy's mission pictures together. I wouldn't say I'm "scrapbooking" proper. Scrapbooking now has become something where you need a bunch of stickers and flower thingies and weird expensive things that look cheesy. Not to mention, barely any PICTURES. This is in a book, and it will have something other than pictures in it (stuff he got in Albania) but it's really cool and I want it to look nice and not as girly as scrapbooks look now.
Two days ago we got a Costco membership. It seemed like before all of our friends and relatives were telling us how great Costco was, and we were excited to get a membership sometime. It seemed like it was the thing we were missing. Then we went there. Costco's not that great. The meat department is really good, and those delicious cookies, but a lot of it is not that awesome. We found that out quickly. It's good for some things only.

There, happy?
