Slightly more than half...
So I got an email this past weekend from this girl from Family Student Housing. We've been on the waiting list to get in, and she said they had a 1 bedroom opening in the middle of May if we wanted to take it. Then she said to email her by 10AM on Monday morning.
Well, Billy and I are now both really sick, and so we woke up at 10:15AM on Monday. I had already planned on emailing her, so I did at 10:30, telling her that we were gone all weekend and we still needed to work it out with our landlords. She replied back lightning fast and said that if we had an answer by 4:30 that afternoon. Following me so far? k good.
Then we went to school. Not too eventful, except that it was, but I'll tell you that later.
We came home, whipped out our contract and confirmed that it didn't have anything that says anything about breaking our lease. Our lease is up October 31st. We went in to the rental office and asked our really nice landlady what the consequences were if we broke the lease and what do we do. They said that they just need to find someone to rent the place, if they don't, we have to pay rent until someone lives here. Although, there's tons of interest in these places, and SB is happenin'.
So....we put in our 30 day's notice! I emailed the Family Housing lady and said YES WE WANT IT and she was like ok calm down, you can have it.
We've never even seen it. I think it's even smaller than this place, but it doesn't matter because the rent is slightly more than half of what we're paying.
Also! It includes utilities, high speed internet, and...a parking spot! And we'll have a little patio. We have one now, but still!!!
Also, aside from housing, I've been in limbo with my major. Since I did badly in one of my classes last quarter, I'm re-taking it PLUS the one that is supposed to come after that. It's pretty crazy and I had to beg in order to do it. Anyway, I decided that if I do badly on the first test in the later class (the one I'm not supposed to be in, and begged to get the add code for) I would drop it and change my major. Well, I just took the test yesterday...and annihilated it!! The prof gives us the answer key right after we leave the test, so you can roughly figure out how you did on the test. Anyway, being pretty harsh on my score, I think I got about an 83%. Also, you should know that this teacher's A's start at 80%.
THAT'S AN A, BABY!!
So in conclusion:
I can keep my major, we won't starve this summer, we're moving soon, but we're both pretty ill (and I mean the ill that means sick or afflicted, not the ill that means like totally tight).

YAY for the LLY's!! That is so insanely awesome! I can't wait to see your new place. You should let us know when you're planning on moving out, we might be able to help out!...just plan on moving on the weekend of the 16th because we'll be in Big Bear and then we can come up the next weekend instead and sleep around your boxes and help unpack and stuff....Well, if you decide not to move the weekend of the 16th, we'll help you move anyway. Your stuff can't be that bad to move. It's not like your TVs from 1984, so it'll be easy to move ya'll!
Oh, and it's too bad to hear you're sick too. I'm getting better now, todays the best I've felt since Sunday night. Luckily Tim's not sick...I've been making him eat tons of oranges.
I have the runs from Allison making me eat all those oranges.
