What UC is what you get

We're here in Santa Barbara both going to UCSB and living the married college life. Here you can read about nerd stuff, current protests at our school (or other strange liberal causes), and basically the haps of our UC life, and other parts of life as well!

On Monday Billy and I will be married for one year. What should we do? We're still in school :( so we can't do much.
In the meantime, it's really hot. The end.

yay memorial weekend!

Tim and Allison were here yesterday, and they left super early. lame. I don't know why I write like that because Tim & Allison are basically the only ones who read this blog.
Anyway...We don't have plans for our day off tomorrow, but we think we're going to go to the beach. Then hang out with friends at nighttime. Too bad I have physics due tuesday night.
Today we went to church, we got there pretty late because we're not used to driving so far. We came in during the sacrament hymn, which was "As Now We Take the Sacrament." It reminded me of Pres. Buskirk and I miss him.

Then they didn't have a 3rd speaker, so I guess they planned something called "Worshipping Through Music" which basically meant, let's sing your favorite hymn. It was pretty cool, but some people didn't like it, for some reason.
Knock Knock Knockin on heaven's door!! Sorry, that's playing right now. We're done with school soon, which is pretty kickflippin awesome. I suppose that's all I have to say. There's nothing really to update on. Godspeed

West Campus Lyfe

We moved the very last things from our old place to our new place today!! Including our bikes. By the way, I didn't take pictures. We're bad about that. I like pictures, but I don't think Billy cares. If we had pictures, none would have me in them, or both of us, he just doesn't...care. Anyway, we have boxes aplenty and we're really happy to be here! Tim & Allison are coming this weekend which will be awesome!! All that's great, and I have nothing more to say.

Dude!!

Someone totally is taking over our lease!! We don't have to pay double rent!!! woo!

Billy said that yesterday, he was biking home and he saw a bunch of cute bunnies on the bike trail, but they kept running away. Then he was like, why are they running away? I'm not that loud. Then these two guys on mini bikes rode toward him. What the heck were they doing on the bike trail? Jerks. Scaring bunnies.

One of those days!!

I haven't gone to my Physics class for the last 2 classes (that's a week) and I have homework due at midnight tonight. Great, homework due and I haven't been in class to learn how to do it. It's ok, I have the book that has problems similar, but not similar enough to understand!
Oh woops, I didn't turn in my lab writeup, either. I completely haven't done it yet, and it was due Friday.
Aw crap, I won't get time to clean up much today, which stinks because it needs to be clean so the apt. manager can show our apartment whenever they want to. By the way, no one has turned in any applications to this place and someone should move in on may 28th. Just getting a LITTLE nervous about that.
Not to mention, when we move out of here I'll probably have homework or tests at the same time. Then the boxes. And our new apartment is going to be way too small. Goodbye prospects of getting a couch/futon. We've never even seen it.
So to deal with all this junk I've just been eating this yummy dessert I made the other night and drinking Coke. Maybe not the best idea...
I told Billy at least when we get a millipede, we'll be sure to have fruits and vegetables because that's what they eat. Yay!

Regarding the Queers...

The Queer Student Union, that is. The rainbow sticks along the campus roads for Pride Week ended their celebration today with a wedding ceremony in Storke Plaza. There were rings, photos, and cake where they held a mock (I'm assuming) wedding for anyone just to promote marriage rights. Gays, straights, even if you wanted to get married to yourself, they just wanted people to come to the event. Luckily, I had something else to do, so I didn't see anything except the enormous rainbow balloon arch across Storke Plaza.
2 weeks till we move...
